Kilgarvan Motor Museum

Kilgarvan Motor Museum is located just 5min drive to the south from Kilgarvan Town in County Kerry. The museum is run by Mitchells family (John, his wife Joan and two sons) who are collecting and restoring old cars since 1970's. There is huge collection of classic cars, beginning from the very old ones as 1926 Ford model T, throughout very unusual like 1959 Bmw Isetta or non-existing but fameus in the past car makes like DKW, to well known oldtimers VW Beatle or Mercedes SL, which still can be seen on our roads. You will find there luxury Bentley and Rolls-Royce cars as well as military legends like Jeep Willys MB. Vehicles of the Mitchells collection often appear on vintage rallies and motorshows, and sometimes in motor magazines and television. Except vintage cars there are also some motocycles, tractors and hundreds of exhibits connected with automotive world.
